Sixty-nine years of gaming
Campione d'Italia is building a new municipal casino which, in 2005,
will replace the existing one that dates from 1936. The project
is an investment of 95 million Swiss francs and is designed to meet
the needs of a large clientele - in 1998 over 400,000 people visited
its gaming rooms.
The construction work has been entrusted to ATI (Associazione temporanea
d'imprese) IMPREGILO Spa and Castelli Spa, who commenced work in
April 1999. The explanatory below illustrates the project, the architectural
features and the internal layout of the new Casino.
